Chewy Fall Review: Rain is Back #Chewy Influencer

It’s Chewy time! Below is a short video about the Chewy box we received and brought with us on our Mt. Hood hike last weekend. It was very wet but it’s nice to have training treats during hikes. (The video shows us all after the hike, I promise we have cover even though you can hear the pouring rain!)

As Chewy influencers, we review a few new brands we’re not familiar with each month and we tested Hill’s Flexi-Stix Jerky and Honest Kitchen’s Wishes. Breaking treats up for recall is key since this hike on Mt.Hood (Barlow Trail is our favorite), is flat and perfect for Bruisy but also one of the only hikes where I let Sherm off leash. I trust him to check in with us as we’ve done this hike for many years together. Regardless, when he checks in, he always gets a treat.

What I loved about both brands:  

Hill’s Science Diet Flexi-Stix Jerky with Real Beef Dog Treats include glucosamine and chondroitin supplements to support healthy joints. They are easily broken up into tiny pieces. As you know, I always look for products made in the U.S.

Honest Kitchen’s Wishes are made with 100% wild-caught Haddock from Iceland using sustainable fishing practices. They’re grain-free,  and perfect for sensitive pets who suffer from allergies or intolerance to certain foods such as grains and proteins. Wishes come in large, dehydrated fillets – they can be snapped into smaller pieces for your dogs or cats. They’re also made in the U.S.
