It’s November now! It’s not to early to think about holiday cards – I know Halloween was a few days ago but Thanksgiving is just weeks away! Are you familiar with Minted and their holiday card selection?

You can browse through the 2016 holiday card collection here or look at their styled holiday cards. I had so much fun going through images from the past six months of the three dogs and went ahead and created my holiday card so I can get those out over Thanksgiving. I’m sure like everyone reading this the list once December hits is long so it’s easier to get big projects like cards out of the way…right away.

Pour a glass of wine and start looking for templates! Minted is on top of the latest trends – I was told from their community of independent artists that 2016 trends include: midnight blues, graphic black & white, botanical wreaths, and glittery foil. “Among this year’s top trends are real foil-pressed holiday cards in gold, silver and rose gold and photo letterpress holiday cards featuring the luxurious look and feel of letterpress paired with unique inks and vibrant colors.” -Minted experts.

The cards are available with matching custom stamps! I chose the “thoughtful” template! They’re also available with free recipient addressing and envelope designs. You can create a Minted Address Book which is cool since I gather envelopes each year and try and get that populated into a word document which never happens.

Minted is a design marketplace of independent artists from around the globe. They also offer postcards, ornament cards and 8 unique die-cut shapes. A variety of backer options allow you to add additional photos, text, and customization options to your holiday card. Have fun!

    • Thank you! It was so easy to do and I love easy craft projects – of course looking through dog pics from the year was fun too…:) It was a great excuse to go back through the months. Minted is great and I’ve used Tiny Prints too!

  21. Monika & Sam says:

Funny that you bring this up…I’ve been looking for the best pet pose ‘pawsibilities’ wherever we go. The light is just gorgeous now and would make such a great ‘howliday’ card.

    • Thank you! I was so ready to go through photos from the summer and start to pick a few for the cards this year. Enjoy taking pics – I love holiday cards!!!!

      • Monika & Sam says:

99.9% of my ‘daily’ photos are from an iPhone and we all know that resolution isn’t the best for printed cards. I need to remember to take my DSLR with me for any decent holiday card photo. 😉

  22. I haven’t tried to do this kind of card before. Thanks for your reminder. I’m going to prepare for my little princesses. Maybe I put more colors in the holiday cards. The Greatest Season is coming. So happy!
