Walter checking out his monthly box!

The Chewy.com box arrived and well the treats barely lasted one week. We absolutely love these two brands and used these for Nosework training and puzzle toys throughout the week.

Orijen Beef Singles Freeze Dried Dog Treats

Ingredients: These are made from 100% meat which is why I love these treats. I fed all three Orijen years ago before I switched to a raw diet and it was one of my favorite brands for the pack. I’m a huge fan of these freeze dried treats since we do so much training and they easily crumble and break into tiny pieces.

Why we love them: There are zero preservatives so they’re the real deal. They come in different sizes and I chose the beef and those cattle are also free-range Black Angus.

Solid Gold Tiny Tots Lamb Jerky

Ingredients: The Tiny Tots are prefect for the doxies. They’re made with lamb and cinnamon. I use these for training too and they have this super soft texture so they’re good for our old dog as Bruiser is missing some teeth.

Why we love them: All natural and holistic with no chemical preservatives. These are the types of treats we like to feed the pack!

Disclaimer: We received a bag of Solid Gold and Orijen treats from Chewy.com as part of their blogger program in exchange for an honest review.  I only share information about products that I believe in and already fit into our doggie lifestyle and routine. Chewy.com did not compensate me for this post.

  1. They both sound yummy. Though Bruiser is really selling the Solid Gold treats with that big smile.

That’s what I love about Orijen and Acana, both have solid ingredients, sourced locally, a ton of research and infographics for the consumer, AND our dogs love the food. I’ve really tapered back on the treats with my boys but I really want to try the freeze dried ones, maybe I should get off my butt and go get some. My boys would surely thank me. 🙂

    • Me too! I fed Walter as a puppy the “puppy” Orijen line and I was a big fan of those ingredients.
The freeze dried treats sometimes are hard to find here at local pet supply stores so I was happy to find them on Chewy. Try them!!

Will do! I’m planning on puttering/shopping a bit on Saturday so I’ll go grab some. I’m sure the boys will love them.
        Have a good night Hun!
