<Bruiser> It’s ok I’m not going to Nosework today, I need to protect the couch and my Lazy-Boy chair this afternoon.
<me> Ok, but I feel badly. Walter needs the outlet since he competes and Shermie well, he’s so reactive lately it’s nice for him to have a job
<Bruiser> I get it.
Two hours later.
<Bruiser> The couch feels safe now. When are you all coming home? Let’s go have ice cream today. Or let’s just have dinner early.
<me> Thanks so much for protecting the couch. I definitely think ice cream is a good idea but it makes everyone gas’y’.
<Bruiser> Gross.
<me> We could just have crunchy sweet potato treats, or…. Yaks?
<Bruiser> Honestly, we should have ice cream today. It’s Tuesday. I’m so BORED. I didn’t bark at the UPS guy so that alone is why I should have ice cream.

Our dogs had ice cream on Saturday… I think that explains the gas bomb later that night!

It feels like every day he sits on the ottoman and “guards” the couch or at least that’s the dialogue we exchange while I sit with him 😉 I love street art too! Every once in awhile I find a crazy fun mural and I was lucky to have Brui with me!! Thanks!
Ice cream sounds pretty darn good to the one human in this room (Me!). But my dogs, like yours, get a little fragrant with the stuff. We’ll just stick with cookies for now.
