Happy New Year! Where is your dog’s favorite spot in the house? Walter’s favorite spot is in front of the fireplace! Every. Single. Morning.

My sisters and cat bro Bert camp out in front of the fireplace, but only in the evening when it is on and warm.
I wish I was small enough to curl up in front of the fireplace like Walter does! I bet Bert loves the heat just like the girls do!!
Max’s is definitely the bed or this one seat (the far right) on the couch. Gus’ is probably in the back of the closet where no one can bother him (he’s a cat)
Gus is very smart – Sherm will also hang out in the small bathroom if he hears strong wind and loud noises. Good to have a safe place!
For my two Little Dogs it’s under the covers!
Love that – and that’s typically where Walter ends up and where Bruisy stays all winter!

Baxter is pretty much my little shadow, but Charlie loves being in our closet with the clothing draping over him all cozy-like. 🙂

The best is in the mornings when we get up and he’s just not ready for lights and noise so he recoils as far back into the closet as possible (I swear he was a cat in a previous life). Other times, he “spills” out of the closet and looks like he’s just collapsed from exhaustion. It’s hysterical. 🙂

What sweetly tuckered out pooches! You must have taken one or both of them on those runs you mention. There’s no other reasonable explanation for that exhaustion, right?

They rarely look that tired – it’s my goal to keep them calm!! After beach trips there isn’t much left as far as energy – and I think the fireplace makes them tired too! lol!

Bentley and Pierre’s favorite spot in the house is wherever I want to sit! LOL! They love the couches even though they each have a bed in the living room.
My guys are always on the couches too – I ended up taking all their beds upstairs!
Nice. Both Arliss and Lily love to hang around the fireplace, too.
We’re looking at below freezing temps so the fireplace has become very popular… 🙂

Simon’s favorite spot is anywhere within a 2 ft. radius of me 😉 Zora loves the purple chair in the living room (used to be my chair – ha!) and Piper is partial to my bed or the couch 🙂
